As a Senior Associate in our Antitrust, Competition and Economic Regulation practice, Juliette is a dual-qualified UK and EU antitrust lawyer.  She advises on all aspects of UK and EU competition law across a wide variety of business sectors, with a particular focus on life sciences, telecoms, financial services and consumer. 

Juliette regularly advises clients on competition law compliance in respect of their commercial arrangements, as well as on the contractual, merger control and foreign direct investment aspects of their UK, EU and multi-jurisdictional transactions. She also advises clients on investigations by competition authorities and litigation arising out of allegations of anti-competitive conduct. Her experience includes a secondment to Vodafone. 

Representative experience

Representing Vodafone Group and UK in their successful defence of the Phones 4u UK standalone competition claim and in the Court of Appeal proceedings.

Advising Vodafone on a number of commercial and transactional matters, including the global carve-out of its Internet of Things business and its global services joint venture with Accenture, VOIS.

Advising a lead automotive manufacturer in responding to parallel consumer-facing CMA and European Commission competition investigations.

Acting for a major international bank in relation to an investigation by the European Commission.

Advising a major British bank in relation to the development of its embedded finance proposition.

Advising Kingfisher and B&Q on a range of UK and international matters.

Advising a leading online package holiday provider in a successful campaign for competition laws to be used to drive change in the package travel market.

Advising an international retailer on competition law compliance in relation to its online marketplace.

Advising a leading pharmaceutical company on the merger control and FDI assessment of global transactions (acquisitions and disposals).

Advising a global biopharmaceutical company on antitrust considerations for its EU and UK distribution strategy including its stock management programme.

Advising Infracapital on the merger control and FDI considerations arising from its additional investment and the introduction of KKR as a strategic co-investor in Zenobē Energy Limited.

Representing a cryptocurrency exchange in its defence of UK competition litigation.
