Hogan Lovells advises ESAB Corporation on strategic acquisition of EWM GmbH

Led by Munich partner Dr Nikolas Zirngibl, global law firm Hogan Lovells has advised ESAB Corporation, a global leader in industrial fabrication technology, on the signing of a definitive agreement to acquire EWM GmbH. The transaction values EWM at approximately €275 million. Closing is expected in the second half of 2025, subject to customary regulatory approvals and closing conditions.

Headquartered in Germany, EWM is a leading provider of premium arc welding technologies. The company operates six production sites, has over 400 global sales and service partners, and employs approximately 800 people across 23 locations.
