Kyle Xu helps clients navigate complex technology disputes, including patent infringement and invalidity, software and code-related copyright infringement, trade secret misappropriation, and technology-related contractual disputes.

He has experience across all stages of litigation, including pleadings, fact and expert discovery, motion practice, and trials. Kyle has handled cases before U.S. district courts, the International Trade Commission (ITC), and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

His litigation work spans a wide range of industry sectors, including semiconductors, microelectronics, electronic design automation (EDA) software, automotive OEMs, consumer electronics, and medical devices. He has advised on matters involving integrated circuits, LCD displays, consumer electronics hardware and software, EDA software, automotive hardware and software, and financial technologies. Prior to joining the firm, Kyle also practiced in IP transactional investigations and portfolio management.

Kyle served as an Article Editor for both the Harvard Journal of Law & Technology and the Harvard Business Law Review, and was a Board Member of HLS Lambda.
