We recently secured a major class action win to ensure that Tennessee complies with federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) regulations, a state-administered federal program which provides access to food and nutrition to the most vulnerable populations. Working on a fast-track schedule, our team’s strong briefing led a federal judge to appoint a special master to oversee system remediation, without needing a full hearing. The special master’s role will be to increase citizens’ access to these benefits and ensure they are distributed within a reasonable timeline.
