We secured a proposed $7 million USD class action settlement (pending court approval) addressing systemic abuse and racial discrimination at the Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center in Massachusetts. Filed on behalf of approximately 150 incarcerated individuals, the suit — led by a cross-office Hogan Lovells team in collaboration with Prisoners’ Legal Services — sought justice for victims of excessive force and secured critical policy reforms.
