Her practice covers both French and European regulatory frameworks and regularly involves cross-border and multi-disciplinary matters. She assists clients with regulatory strategy, compliance and inspections, as well as regulatory and commercial aspects of mergers, acquisitions, investments, and restructurings in the healthcare sector. She has extensive experience advising on due diligence processes, authorization and certification issues and the structuring and negotiation of key operational agreements.
Joséphine is also highly experienced in healthcare transactions, advising investors and operators on acquisitions and strategic partnerships involving clinics, laboratories, medical centers, and other regulated healthcare structures. Her in-depth understanding of ownership restrictions, professional independence rules, licensing requirements, and public-private cooperation models enables her to deliver integrated, pragmatic advice on complex healthcare investments.
In addition to her transactional and advisory work, Joséphine regularly supports clients in interactions with regulatory authorities, including in the context of inspections. She is frequently involved in matters relating to innovative therapies, advanced medicinal products, artificial intelligence in healthcare, and digital health solutions.
She is a member of the Paris Bar and holds academic qualifications in healthcare and pharmaceutical law, as well as in business law and management. Joséphine joined Hogan Lovells in 2017, after gaining prior experience in another leading international law firm in Paris.
