Alex is a US securities and capital markets partner based in our London office. He has extensive experience acting on cross-border corporate and capital markets transactions as well as advising clients on SEC-registered deal execution and compliance. Alex’s capital markets experience includes acting on Rule 144A/Reg S transactions, private placements and offerings registered with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.

Alex advises issuers and financial institutions on the full suite of equity capital markets products, including IPOs, rights issues, continuous offerings, follow-on offerings and accelerated bookbuild transactions, as well as on debt and hybrid securities issuances.

He also has significant experience advising on complex carve out transactions featuring equity raises and spin offs, as well as on public mergers and acquisitions, such as schemes of arrangement, tender offers and exchange offers, involving both US-listed and non-US-listed clients. Alex has advised clients across multiple geographies, including the United Kingdom, South Africa, Continental Europe, the Middle East and the United States.

Alex is a member of our Financial Institutions sector group and our Digital Assets and Blockchain group. Alex is the co-author of multiple publications regarding the SEC’s guidance on the security status of crypto assets and disclosure considerations for crypto companies offering securities. His clients include Nasdaq-listed Verb Technology Co. (to be renamed TON Strategy Co.), a digital asset treasury company focused on the acquisition and staking of TONcoin, the native cryptocurrency of the TON blockchain.
