Singapore, 20 November 2025 – Global law firm Hogan Lovells is delighted to announce that a landmark transaction it advised on has been awarded the Solar Deal of the Year award at the IJGlobal Investor APAC Awards 2025 held in Singapore on 19 November 2025. The IJGlobal Investor APAC Awards recognize leading transactions in the energy and infrastructure sectors across the Asia-Pacific region.
The firm advised British International Investment (BII) and Pentagreen Capital Assets Pte. Ltd. (Pentagreen) on a US$80 million mezzanine facility to ib vogt (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. to support the development of greenfield utility-scale solar, wind, and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. The facility is designed to help address the funding gap for early-stage clean energy projects in Southeast Asia, catalysing follow-on senior debt and enabling the rapid deployment of new renewable generation and storage capacity in the region.
