Led by Munich partner Dr. Tobias Kahnert, global law firm Hogan Lovells has advised International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) on the acquisition of the Austria-based software company Txture GmbH.

Founded in Innsbruck in 2017, Txture helps enterprises migrate, modernize, and optimize their hybrid cloud estates. By integrating Txture into its Consulting Advantage platform, IBM strengthens its leadership in hybrid cloud transformation and enables clients to accelerate value creation, inter alia through Txture's automation and recommendation capabilities.

Hogan Lovells provided IBM with comprehensive legal advice on all aspects of the transaction, including foreign direct investment (FDI) matters. Austria-specific aspects of the transaction were advised by law firm Binder Grösswang.
