Led by Frankfurt partner Dr. Christoph Naumann, global law firm Hogan Lovells has advised the shareholders of the Weber Bürsten Group, a company specializing in the development, production and distribution of innovative brush and cleaning systems for industrial use, on the partial sale of their shares to a holding company of the Austrian Growth Capital Fund.

The Weber Bürsten Group specializes in developing and manufacturing technical brush systems as well as providing complementary cleaning products and spare parts for industrial applications. With a strong focus on the needs of various industries, the company offers customized solutions that ensure efficiency and durability. From concept design and production to delivery, the Weber Group covers the entire process to provide its clients with high-quality, practical cleaning systems.

The Austrian Growth Capital Fund, a private equity growth fund managed by AG Capital, invests in small and medium-sized enterprises in Austria, neighbouring countries, and other parts of Western Europe. As part of this investment, the fund aims to identify, prioritize and successfully implement key growth and optimization opportunities through a joint strategic process following the transaction. Two of the sellers will continue to serve as managing directors of the group and will drive the company’s strategy forward.

Hogan Lovells provided comprehensive legal advice to the sellers on all aspects of the transaction, including the negotiation and drafting of the transaction documents as well as advice on the sellers’ reinvestment.
