Rome, 10 July 2025 – Global law firm Hogan Lovells has advised Italgas on the establishment of the EMTN (Euro Medium Term Notes) program for a maximum nominal amount of 5 billion euros approved by Commissione Nazionale per le Società e la Borsa (CONSOB), under which the company may issue one or more non-convertible bonds to be executed within a year, targeted to institutional investors.

The new EMTN Program of Italgas is particularly innovative for companies in Italy as it provides for the issuance of securities governed by English law in dematerialized form at Euronext Securities, listed on the Mercato Telematico delle Obbligazioni (“MOT”), managed by Borsa Italiana S.p.A..

The Hogan Lovells team that advised on the transaction was led by partners Patrizio Messina and Alessandro Accrocca and included associate Edoardo Minnetti and trainees Neomi Biagini and Riccardo Del Torto.
