Valerio is a senior associate in the Technology, Media and Communications and Commercial Group at the Hogan Lovells Rome office. He has developed a deep knowledge of the TMT sector in assisting online and tech operators in Italy and the EU on a broad range of challenges. His experience includes contractual negotiations, e-commerce, internet service providers' liability, consumer protection, sharing economy, privacy, AI and mobility regulation.
When it comes to new technologies, Valerio is always ahead of the game and clients can count on his knowledge of the sector, innovative thinking as well as deep understanding of the law.
Valerio has a PhD in Public Law from the University of Roma Tre, where he also graduated in Law. During his studies, he spent time at the European Parliament in Brussels and at the University of Malta, as part of international student exchange programmes. Thanks to these international experiences, Valerio is fluent in Italian and English.

Assistance to sharing-economy players, including Airbnb, in relation to a variety of legal issues posed by the new approach.
Assistance to Uber in relation to its businesses in Italy, including regulatory, commercial and litigation matters and contractual negotiations that brought to the Uber-ItTaxi deal
