While at Vanderbilt, Christine served as the Authorities Editor of the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law. Her note titled, “A Deal with the Devil: French Extortion and Haitian Debt Recovery in International Law,” was published in the distinguished journal in May 2023. Christine also served as a student attorney with Vanderbilt’s Stanton First Amendment Clinic, working on matters related to public officials and free speech, including submitting an amicus brief on behalf of an appellant to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. Christine’s commitment to pro bono has carried over to her work at Hogan Lovells, where she counsels several clients facing immigration removal proceedings as well as death penalty appeals.
