Duplicatas Escriturais: Brazilian Electronics Trade Receivables

On December 4, our São Paulo office held the webinar “Duplicatas Escriturais: Brazilian Electronic Trade Receivables”, covering the digitalization of trade receivables, which is set to transform the credit markets in Brazil by opening up new opportunities for receivables financing and introducing a new asset class to domestic and international secured financing.

As we approach the implementation phases of this market evolution, this webinar was held in conjunction with markets infrastructure provider CERC and Brazilian law firm Pinheiro Neto Advogados to learn more about duplicatas escriturais and explore the opportunities for financing and secured lending.

During the webinar, the opportunities offered by duplicatas escriturais were discussed, including broadening the universe of receivables financing providers and offering debt investors an additional feasible source of collateral to secure cross-border financing.
