Katie is an associate in the firm's Infrastructure, Energy, Resources, and Projects (IERP) practice, and has experience working on energy transactions and projects, international infrastructure and project finance. With a focus on energy transition and ESG, Katie works on projects that have tangible positive impacts on communities and the environment.

Her work includes advising on regulatory regimes, asset acquisition and renewable energy financing, together with advising on appropriate commercial frameworks to capture value within the energy transition chain. 

Representative experience

The Crown Estate on its award of options to Equinor and Gwynt Glas to deliver two new floating windfarms off the coasts of Wales and South West England. 

The Crown Estate on the £9bn “Round 4” tender process to deliver 7GW of new offshore wind capacity in the UK.

The Crown Estate in relation to the Floating Offshore Wind Leasing “Round 5” in the Celtic Sea, a competitive auction process established to deliver 4.5 gigawatts of secure, renewable energy.

Covanta Energy and Veolia in connection with the development and project financing of a 60MW merchant waste-to-energy facility at Rookery South in Bedfordshire.

Infracapital on its investment in the battery storage and electric transportation transformation business, Zenobē Energy and in connection with the introduction of KKR as an investor into Zenobē.

The Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Finance and the National Electric Grid of Uzbekistan on a pathfinder €1.bn+ project for a 1,600MW combined cycle gas-fired power project in Uzbekistan.
