Brittany is a counsel in our Infrastructure, Energy, Resources and Projects practice area. Her practice focuses on corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, financings and infrastructure projects. Brittany advises a broad range of clients, including in the telecommunications and financial services industries, in connection with their financing, capital markets and corporate needs. Additionally, she regularly advises private equity firms, infrastructure funds and technology companies on commercial and regulatory matters with a particular focus on subsea network infrastructure. She regularly represents clients in the negotiation of various network infrastructure contracts, including submarine cable construction contracts, joint build agreements and contracts related to the construction and use of data centers. No matter the context, Brittany assists clients with their strategic business matters and collaborates with them to reach creative solutions.

Previously, Brittany served as director, associate counsel at Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., where she advised on matters relating to mergers and acquisitions, financings, corporate governance and securities.

Representative experience

Counsel to two of the principal consortium members developing the CELIA subsea cable system, which, when completed, will connect locations throughout the Caribbean and the United States.*

Numerous clients on all facets of construction, development, and operation of subsea and terrestrial fiber optic networks in Western Europe.*

Numerous clients on all facets of construction, development, and operation of subsea and terrestrial fiber optic networks in the Pacific, Atlantic and Indian Oceans.*

Numerous clients on all facets of construction, development, and operation of subsea and terrestrial fiber optic networks in the Caribbean and Mediterranean Seas.*

Subsea cable system construction, development and operation agreements, including landing party, operation/maintenance, marine maintenance and fronthaul maintenance agreements.*

Counsel to hyperscalers in the commercialization of systems, including work on IRU agreements and fiber exchanges.*

Counsel to a developer in the construction of data centers and connecting/transiting terrestrial fiber facilities for use by multiple hyperscalers.**

Counsel to hyperscalers in the procurement of space in cable landing stations and data centers, including advising on the related regulatory requirements.*
