Tom Allinson is an associate in our Litigation Group. Tom has wide-ranging experience advising clients on a range of complex, high-value and multi-jurisdictional commercial disputes and internal investigations relating to financial crime and anti-corruption issues.

Tom’s work often involves claims of fraud or corruption, as well as forms of injunctive relief, such as worldwide freezing orders. 

Tom is actively involved in the firm's pro bono practice, having advised a number of clients on their applications for compensation under the Criminal Injuries Compensation Scheme.

Acting for ENRC in securing a major victory at the Commercial Court in proceedings against its former solicitors and the UK Serious Fraud Office

Acting for Zurich Insurance on a US$400 million claim arising out of the collapse of Greensill Capital

Advising on an investigation for a global business services organisation into alleged financial crime issues in Asia

Advising on a financial crime risk assessment and compliance programme uplift for an international energy company

Advising numerous multinational companies on financial crime risks arising from proposed M&A transactions involving businesses in high risk jurisdictions
