Hogan Lovells Senior Associate Faraz Naqvi recognised in Airline Economics 40 under 40 list

Faraz Naqvi, a senior associate in Hogan Lovells Asset Finance team in London, has been named in Airline Economics "40 Under 40" list which recognises the most talented individuals in the commercial aviation industry.

In the article Faraz is praised for his “exceptional” knowledge of aircraft leasing and financing, his ability to identify and explain complex legal issues, for working hard and smartly, as well as for his “extremely likeable manner” – all of which inspires absolute faith in his colleagues and clients that he is in complete control of every transaction.

Since joining the firm in 2008, Faraz has focused on aviation and shipping within the asset finance practice. He acts for operating lessors, banks and operators on a broad range of transaction types, including sale and leasebacks, operating leases and bank financings. As an aviation enthusiast Faraz has built up a practice of advising on 'power by the hour' arrangements, aircraft acquisitions and regulatory matters both in England and the United Arab Emirates.

Faraz spent six months on secondment with Standard Chartered Aviation Finance in Dublin and prior to that, was based in Hogan Lovells' Dubai office where he acted on regional aviation and Islamic finance transactions.
